How to Gift a Coffee Subscription — Step by Step
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
Three minutes for you, months of good mornings for them. Here is exactly how the gift works, with pictures of every step.
1. Open the gift page and pick a length
Go to Gift a Coffee Subscription and choose 3, 6 or 12 months. Every gift is one bag a month, whole bean or ground, and it ends on its own after the last bag. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.
2. Tell us who it is for
On the order form you choose Whole Bean or Ground and the bag size, then fill in three short fields: the recipient's name, the recipient's email (that is where we send the eCard) and your gift message, word for word as you want them to read it. Pick the length under Delivery Frequency and click Add to Cart.
3. Ship it to them, pay from your own card
At checkout, enter their address as the shipping address. When you get to payment, choose "Use a different billing address" and enter yours. Every box goes to them and every monthly charge goes to you. They never see a bill.
4. What they receive
The same day, they get an eCard by email that tells them who sent the gift, how many months it lasts, and your message. Their first bag is Cristo Rey, our signature coffee. After that a different Guadalupe coffee follows every month, in the order of the coffee calendar below, so they taste the whole lineup without having to choose. If they would like a specific coffee one month, just email us and we swap it.
On your phone
The whole thing works just as well from a phone.
Good to know
You are billed month by month at that coffee's regular price, plus shipping, so there is no large upfront charge. Three bags a month ship together and save 10%; five bags save 15%.
