Catholic Trade is our direct-sourcing model based on Catholic Social Teaching — the principles Pope Leo XIII set out in Rerum Novarum: a just price for work, families who own and keep their land, and commerce at the service of the common good. Unlike Fair Trade, which uses anonymous certifiers and middlemen, we have personal, documented relationships with every farming family and pay them a fair price directly.
